Sure Hotel By Best Western Schaeffergaarden - Gentofte

I chose this hotel for attending a seminar and it provided other amenities such as a bar and a business center. The facilities were convenient and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience.

The only service that I missed for my work was a dedicated conference room for business meetings.

The personal was very nice and the breakfast was perfect!

We did book this hotell for a nice holiday with a good dinner.But when we arrived at Saturday afternoon everything was closed because of other arrangements.If there is no chance to get dinner on a hotell outside town you should be told that before.Thanks to helpful personal and a cab so we got a fine evening at Bakken!

Stayed at an "ancient" hunting manor from 1755. Free parking, free WiFi, and a lovely park with a lake. Enjoyed horse riding and canoeing. Perfect for events and meetings. Delicious cold dishes served. Great terrace and garden.

Sarcasm: Who needs variety in a restaurant? Just give me the same three main courses for dinner every night!

Its beautiful and very comfortable. Here its easy to park and in all it the easyness to come and go that makes the stay relaxing. We likes it very much.

Try to make better tea for breakfast!

This hotel in the outskirts of Copenhagen, situated in the posh area of Gentofte, is a true hidden gem. It offers excellent value for money, providing a peaceful retreat just outside the bustling city center. The hotel is surrounded by well-manicured gardens, creating a serene atmosphere that is hard to believe considering its close proximity to the city.

All was well, no improvements needed.

Conference and Training location in typical Danish design, small but comfortable rooms, friendly staff, clean, good breakfast. At special offer price good value.

I enjoy the whole ambiance of the hotel, especially the late 1970 feeling at the restaurant area and surroundings. I also enjoy the clean nordic environment of the furniture.

Everything was great!

Pleasant, open environment, green surroundings, relatively spacious room, ample (and gratuitous!) parking, city and other relevant venues easily accesible.

The room was not tidied consistently (not every day), service level low during weekend (no laundry service), café/bar not consistenly manned.

The atmosphere, castlelike, beautiful garden and pond, nice neighbourhood, quiet and relaxing, nice staff.

Cleaning was good, but could have noticed that one lamp was in disorder.

Uncomfortable light fitting above the bed.

Beautifull green areas. Kind and serviceminded staff.

The toilet was not clean(brown stone). Several lamps was not working, but got repared at once when we informed the staff. The cleaning staff should have noticed that. No wall to wall carpets. It is too expensive compared to some other hotels.

We stayed at Schaeffergarden due to our attendance at our friends wedding, which was held at the establishment. The food and wines was excellent. The service during the event regarding waiters and staff was fabulous, all in all it was a great success.

The comfort of table and chairs could be better. I couldn't put one leg over the other under the table, which was a bit uncomfortable. When we first arrived, champagne was served, while the bride and groom went off to have some pictures taken. The champagne ran out, and I understand that a misunderstanding occurred, but never the less, the wedding guests had to sit for well over 30 minutes without anything to drink, and not even when a guest requested a beer, did the waiters wake up and put out some water or soft drinks or perhaps some beer, that was a shame, but otherwise the evening was fabulous and the waiters too. Considering that we attended a wedding, which was booked til 03 in the morning and a lot of guests stayed at Schæffergården over night, I was disappointed to find that we still had to check out at 10 in the morning. We recently attended another wedding at a Comwell resort and all wedding guests' check out time was posponed free of charge till noon, and breakfast/brunch was still available after 10 in the morning. A wedding costs and our friends have paid a lot of money for the event to be held at your establishment, the least you could do was make sure they where granted a proper wedding night, where they didn't have to rush out of bed practically before they even laid down. I hope you take this minor request into consideration when your next wedding party arrives, because that would really complete the event.
